THE AUSTRALIAN'S FIXTURES.
(Per Press Association.) Chkistchurch, Oct. 26. , At a meeting of tbe New Zealand j Cricket Council held thin afternoon, a sub committee was appointed to arrange matters for the tour of tbe Australians. ; They recommended tbe Auckland match to be played on November 6, 7 and 9 ; Wellington on November 12, 13 and 14 ; Southland on November 18, 19, and 20 ; Otago, November 21, 23, 24; Canterterbury, November 26, 27 and 28. This programme makes no provision for the New Zealand match, which the committee is of the opinion had better be omitted. On the motion of Mr Wanklyn, seconded by Mr Wilding, the programme was adopted. Mr Wanklyu further moved and Mr Tapper seconded, " That, if necessary, arrangements can be make with Mr Musgrove and, if the steamer date can be made to suit, the New Zealand match be carried out as originally fixed — viz., on November 30 and December 1 and 2."
