Results : — Trial Hack Handicap, 1 mile — St. Vincent 1, Splinter 2, Marina 3. Ten started. Won on tbe post. Time, lmin 48 3-ssec. Dividend, _6. Wanganui Derby, \\ miles — St. Paul 1, Defiance 2, Cceur de Lion 3. The only starters. Won after a good race. Time, 2mia 42 3 ssec. Dividend, £1 18s. First Handicap Hurdles, 2 miles and a distance. — Kapua 1, Tally-ho 2, Glenelg 3. Seven others started. Won rather easily. Time, 4min 9sec. Dividend, £5 17s, First Hack Hurdles, H miles — Gipsy Prince 1, Halcione 2, Venture 3. Three others ran. Won easily by three quarters of a length. Time, 3min 56 2-ssec. Dividend, £1 18s. Hack Flat, 1 mile and a distance — Indian Shot 1, Mystical 2, Marina 3. Eight others faced the starter. Won easily all the way. Time, 2min 315 sec. Dividend, _2 lls. Flyisg, 6 furlongs Errand Boy 1, Umslopogaas 2, St. Laura 3. Errand Boy led all the way. Time, lmin 17 1 ssec. Dividend, £5 2s.
