(Per Press Association) Adelaide, Oct 14. Further details show Tbyer killed his wife and five children by battering in their heads with an axe. Their ages ranged from four months to 12 years. The two elder sons were away and discovered tbe tragedy on their return. The deed was committed after the family had retired to rest. Thyer had been a hard working and affectionate father and was not in monetary difficulties, but was suffering from melancholia owing to bad seasons.
