The Elite Comedy Company.

The above company who have been playing to phenominal business since the commencement of their New Zealand tour in Auckland three months ago, will opeD in tbe Assembly Rooms for a short season of two nights commencing on Saturday next, tbe 17th inst. Win. Horace Bent, undoubtedly tbe cleverest burnt-cork comedian who has ever appeared in Australasia is amongst the company and his return after an absence of fifteen years should be welcome news to theatre-goers. The proprietors, the Australian team, Delohemy, Craydon and Holland, were last through here with the celebrated Moore and Ashton company. Mr Henry Colley, the agent for the company, arrived today to make the necessary arrangement for the company's season. An entire change of programme will be presented each performance.
