The Tekapo in a Collision.
(Per Press Association). Newcastle, This Day. A collision occurred to-day at the entrance to the harbor between the Union Company's steamer Tekapo, which was outward bound, and the Government dredge. The Tekapo proceeded outside after the accident, but returned to effect re* pairs. She had a hole 6ft x 3ft made in her bow, but it is not of a serious nature. Ihe dredge was also a good deal knocked about. The Tekapo was making way for an incoming vessel when she was caught by the tide and swung over to the dredge.
