Bongotea Notes.

(From Our Own Correspondent.) A return social was given by tbe gentlemen of Rongotea to the one given by the ladies at the closing of the Mutual Improvement Society, The following programme was then gone through : — Overture, Mr Parker ; song, Mr Broughton ; song, Mr Gifford ; recitation, Mr Opie ; song, Mr Harper ; song, Mr Hammond ; song, Mr Opie ; dialogue, " Looking for Moses' Mother-in law," given by Messrs Ransom, Broughton, Opie, and Carter. Second part — Overture, Mr Parker ; duet;, Messrs Penny aud Cosfcall ; readiag, Mr Opie ; song, Mr Hammond ; song, Mr Harper ; song, Mr Gifford ; dialogue, " Mr and Mr Foy's Baby," by Messrs Opie, Tompkins, and Revel. After refreshments had been handed ronnd a very enjoyable evening came to a close by singing " God Save the Queen."
