o [Per Press Association] Melbourne, This Day. The Age states a grave scandal has been discovered in connection with the Postal Department. Certain stamps were withdrawn from use some time ago and those remaining in existence rose to a premium. A sheet nominally worth £9 sold for _"40 and afterwards sheets were offered freely at a much lower rate, and an enquiry showed certain officers of the Postal Department bad been trafficking in these stamps. Two have been suspended and au enquiry is now proceeding.
