A Shocking Outrage.
A MAN'S EARS CHOPPED OFF. (Per Press Association) Pahiatua, Sept. 10. Last night a man named Timothy O'Gorman wa« robbed of a gold watch valued at L 25 and both his ears were sliced off close to his head. Joseph Kenny, licensee of the Empire Hotel, Pahiatua, has been arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the outrage.
