i Por Press Association. I London, Sept. 7. Tbe Cretan Revolutionary Assembly has thanked the Powers for their intervention, and at the same time expresses an opinion that only through union with Greece can a permanent settlement be arrived at. The Governor is raising £100,000 to enable the peasantry to reoccupy their holdings.
