A Naval Officer Fined £100.
(Per Press Association) Melboubne, This Day. Lieut. Colqaohon of the warship Nolson was fined £10Q in cpnnection with the discovery on board of a quantity of tobacco aud spirits on which duty was not paid. The defence was the goods Mas transferred from the recently«sold ganboat Victoria and were not intended for use on the Nelson. Defendant will probably appeal.
