Alleged Gaming House Raided.

(Prr Press Association.) Christchurch, August 15. The police raided an alleged gaming house oyer a fish shop in Cashel-Btreet late last night, and arrested the proprietors and 15 others, mostly young men. All were handcuffed and taken to the police station. Williams, proprietor of the shop, was fined L 25, and the others L 2 each. About 40 dice were found on the floor, and three notes on an extinct Melbourne Bank. One of the men Frank Burrows, was also charged with attempting to pass a similar bank note on a Sydenham tradesman and was remanded.
