(Per Press Association.) Wellington, August 12. The Pharmacy Bill was amended in committee, to provide that chemists' assistants; of a certain standing were included in the class of those who may be registered as pharmaceutical chemists without examination. The Inspecting of Machinery Act Amendment Bill was read a second time. The Imprest Supply Bill for '£237,000 passed all its stages. Ihe Hon. Jno. Rigg's Divorce Act Amendment Bill was thrown out on the second reading by '29 votes to 11. The Summary Separation Bill was read a second time. Then Council then adjourned.
