Latest caole advices report prices as follows— Canterbury mutton, i S^d per ib; North Island, 3d per lb. Prime New Zealand lumbs are worth, ppr carcase, 4gd per lb. Sheepskins.— Keen competition continues to exist for these and we have disposed of large quantities during the week at satisfactory prices. We quote butchers green skins, early -shorn, at 4.s 3d to 4s 9d medium to good,' 3s 9d to 4s; country dry skins, prime well woolled. sid to extra prime, 5Jd ; good, 4*d to sd ; medium, 3*d to 4^d ; inferior and broken, ] 5 d to 3d per lb. Rabbitskins.— Market is firm at late rajes. . Hides.— Lar^e numbers are oflenng, and meet with ready sale at. late rates, viz., 17s for heavy green ox, and Ss for green cow hides ;' damaged and light hides Id to 2^d per lb. Tallow.— Market is stagnant, aad difficulty is experienced in disposing of consignments at satisfactory prices. We quote prime mutton at £16 ; mixed and medium, .£l4 10s to £16 ; inferior and badly rendered, £12 to £U per ton. Our London office telegraphs that there is little demand there, and New Zealand fine mutton is worth 19s 6d, and good beef 17s 6d per cwt. Fungus.— Tbtre is slightly better demand at from 3d to 3*d per lb. Wheat.— The market is quiet for milling wheat, and prices remain unaltered. Whole fowl wheat is worth from 3s 4d to 3s 6d per bushel.
