The Feilding v. Palmerston senior teams will. try conclusions on the Oval to«morrow commencing at 2.45 p.m. The match will be played whatever the state of the weather may be. Players are requested to be on the ground afc 2.30 sharp as it has been arranged to have the team photographed. The following team will represent the Palmerston Football Club in their match with Feilding on Saturday (to-morrow) : — Hewitt, Fitzberbert, Keeling, Weight, Matheson, (3), Bntler, Wingate, Wishart, Wbiffen, Young, De Luen, Prendergast, and Otterson. Emergencies : Tottensen (2). Bell. The annual match between teams representing Canterbury and South Canterbury was played at Christchurcb yesterday. The Canterbury players showed good all round form, the passing among the backs being a feature of the match. The visitors were outclassed from the start, and were defeated by 39 points to nil. Lormer (2;, Price, White, Kerr. Appleby, Uru, and O'Brien scored tries. Appleby placed 5 goals from the tries, some of which were at difficult angles. Uru kicked one penalty, goal and converted one try. The latter who weighs 15 stone 3lbs played a splendid game as wing threquarter. The New Zealand Bugby had under consideration last night a request from the Taranaki Union that the decision to abandon the Taranaki and Queensland match be reconsidered, and it was resolved with regret that owing to the unsatisfactory steamboat arrangements the lequest could not be complied with. The representative football match between Taranaki and Wanganui was played yesterday and resulted in a win for the visitors by 11 points to nil. The game was well contested all through. The Oroua Union fixtures for to-mor-row are : — Colyton v. Apiti, at Cheltenham \ Cheltenham v. ltuabine at Birmingham.
