Manawatu Railway Company's Land.

(Pet Press Association.) . Wellington, July 29. Some weeks ago the Directors of the Wellington-Mauawatu Railway Company invited applications for a number of sections in the Mungaroa. Pakuratahi and Paikakariki blooks. A large number of applications were received and wero considered this morning with the result that 9400 acres were disposed of for an aggregate sum of ,£B2OO. Since its formation the company have sold about 100,000 acres of its reserves, and it has still about an equal area left for disposal.
