A return match was played at Feilding yesterday afternoon between the Marton and Feilding Quoits Clubs, resulting in a win for the visitors after an evenly contested and interesting game by 10 points. The teams played 10 men aside, and Marton won six games and Feilding four. At the conclusion of the game the members of the Feilding Club held an informal ireeting at the Empire Hotel, to discuss the desirability of forming a Rangitikei-Man&watu Quoits Association, the Marton and Hunterville Clubs having taken the initiative in the movement. The members of the Marton Club, who were present, explained their intentions in moving in the matter, which will be further discussed at a meeting of the Feilding Club to be held at an early date. It is probable the Feilding Club will join the proposed association.
