Apiti Notes.

♦ i'FKOM OUB OWN CUB RESPONDENT. | During the last week we have had some very rough weather. On Thursday evening a slight fall of snow took place, this being the first we have experienced this winter. The lambing season has already commenced in the Apiti district, Mr Spurway having lately noticed some very healthy lambs amongst his sheep. The Good Templars intend holding a concert and coffee supper in aid of the funds in the lodge room on Saturday evening next. The Apiti Minstrel Troupe are making arrangements for giving an entertainment at Cheltenham in aid of the Apiti Band Fund on August Ist. A splendid programme has been drawn up, and given fine weather the affair should prove a decided success.
