Annual Band Contest.
(Per Press Association) Dunedin. July 20. Thirteen entries (one more than last year) have been received for the sixth annual brass bands contest 4o be held in Dunedin in October next. The following bands have sent |in their names : — Wellington Garrison, Christchurch Garrison, Stanmore (Christchurch), Oamaru Garrison, Invercargill Carrison, Timaru Garrison, Waimate, Invercargill City, Dunedin Navals, Kaikorai, Dunedin Engineers, Dunedin Citizens, and Dunedin Garrison. For the solo contests there are over 70 entries.
