A Cunosity in Figures.
Here is a curiosity in figures : — An employer pays A iIOO a year to start on, with £5 rise every 6 months. He pays B £100 a year to start, and i-20 rise every year. At the end of 5 years A would have received £25 more than B. Can you or a reader say why £5 half yearly is better than .£2O yearly ? 1 5s will be given for the answer which is considered to be the most correct one in a concise form.
