The Amy Vaughan Comedy Company.

The Amy Vaughan Company appeared in the Assembly Booms last evening before a very fair bouse with the amusing " Fun on the Bristol." As the ' Cap- ! tain,' Mr Alf. McDermott was very good, ; while Mr Alfred Butler sustained the ■ representation of • Count ' to perfection, but for fun and amusing incidents the Widow O'Brien (Mr Harry Baxter) was certainly the funniest. Miss A. Yaughan ; as usual acted her part well and the i various other characters were well sustained. Misa Amy Vaughan was unfortunately suffering from a severe cold and could not sing last evening during the concert scene. Miss Florrie Cameron, as " Nora," also deserves a word of praise. Owing to the success of last night's entertainment Miss Vaughan has decided to appear again to-night, when the very laughable comedy j " Foiled Mashers "and the side-splitting Irish comedy " Slattery's Home," will be produced, and if it is anything like as good as last night's piece it must be a success. The Feilding Brass Band will play selections outside the Hall from 7.30 till 8 o'clock, and nothing remains but to see a big house to make everything a big success. The company will introduce all the latest songs and dances during the evening.
