(Per Press Association) London, June 29. The Bank of England returns published to-day show the total reserve to be ;£38,922,0U0, the proportion of reserve to liabilities being 59 38 per cent. New Zealand frozen mutton— First quality, 3sd ; second quality. 2;]d. Lamb 4fd. The quotations for New Zealand hemp are unchanged. English wheat shows a general decline of 6d ; the Continental market is dull, and the American has a downward tendency. Sugar— German beat, 10s ; Java, 12s 7*d. New Zealand tallow is unchanged. The Bradford wool market is firm with a slight advance. 1 No. 1 best Scotch pig iron, f.o.b. in 1 Clyde, 46s l^d. • Silver, 2s 7d 9 16th.
