Gold Mining News.
(Per Press Association) Auckland, This Day. A Whangarei telegram states some stone brought in from the North Star, Puhipuhi, assayed by Mr Fleming, of Waibi, has returned over one thousand ounces of silver and eight ounces of gold. A considerable area of ground has been taken up.
