He Beated the crowd, and then •aid: "Let every man who is not paying his debts stand up." The excepttod! noted wias^ a' careworn, huocrry indimdnalyelotbed inhia^ lan snmmer suit, ' who "slowly assumed a perpendicular . position, and leaned upon the back <>f the ' seat r in- front of him/" How is it, my friendi^enquired the minister, "that you * are the only man in this large congregation who is. unable to meet his obligations?'! "I pnblish a newspaper," he medriy replied, "md .my brethren here, • who have just stood up, are my susenb•ct, and^-— r-r" , "Let ua pray," exclaimed the minister.
