As Mr Chapman was thwarted in his desire both at the last sittinjc >and "also^at to-day's, the Opposition regarded the action as a desire on the part of .Government to erade the matter; therefore, Lyne, Leader of :'ithe^Opposition, moved that the I methoel of payment of the Dean Comjmutoner*, amounted to a misappropria^ttW'j^Hc funds. The Premier " ' ißeeept^^tne^nXotion as one tantamount to want of confidence, and moved the adjournment o| the House, which was carried. The Oppositionists are thought id hare but a amall chance of success.
