Their association added 44 to the score. Marchant, too, played a lively innings. After the luncheon adjournment Trumble and McKibbin were very difficult to play, and the Home team were soon disposed of. Wben the board showed 8, Graham played a ball on and Trott and Gregory carried tbe score to 14. Pougher went on at Attwell's end when the score stood at 18, and the bowlers, espscially Pougher, getting on tremendous work on the ball, finished the innings in three or four overs. When Pougher went on, Kelly fell a victim to his first ball and with next Hill retired. Iredale lost bis wicket next over, and then each bowler sent down a maiden. In Pong* her's next over Trumble played the second ball on to the wicket. Eady was yorked with the third ball and McEibbin was caught at midwicket off the fifth.
