Tame and Co. report on the Welling, ton stock, wool, skin, and property marketß for the week ending' 29th May as follows :— Fat sheep— The firm tone still continues, and we expect to see better values next month. . Prime wethers lis to lis 6d ; medium, lOs to 10s 6s ; ewes,, heavy weights up to 9s. Store wethers — still a little doing— os 6d to 9s for best, medium, 7s to 7s. 6d; lambs, 6s to 7s 6d; breeding ewes enquired for ; no sales to report ; values, 7s 6d to 8s 6d for good ewes in lamb. Cattle— Fat beef, 17a for beat bullock. Store cattle, very little doing, weaners selline*; best from 22s to 28s ; yearlings 35s to 40s ; 2 year steers 50s to 60s ;" dairy cows still sell well np toLß los for good young sorts .on calving ; heifers L4loto L 5 10s. Pigs— Baconers. 40s to 45. ; porkers, 20s to 22s 6d J young pigs. 6s to 10s. Sheepskins coming forward slowly, all skins selling well at our weekly sales. Dry skins, 4M to Sd ;\ others 3d ; to 3-_d, butchers green skins up to 4a 3d. Property— Good farms are still in request and we have buyers from the South Island on the lookout for suitable places. .
