The Secretary to the Brunner Confer tnc 3 (Mr £. W. Kane) has received the following list of the contributions to the Brunner fund :— Post and Telegraph Department, ±'880 11s 2d; Auckland, .£1600; Dunedin, £2600 ; Nelson £972 9s lOd ; New Plymouth, £283 2s; Gisborne, £276 ; Masterton, £150 9s 8d ; Napier, £980 ; Hokitika, L 45 0; Wanganni, £370 ; Brunnerton, £1100; Reef ton, £433 ; Kumara, £200 ; Westport, £170 ; Blenheim, £200; Oamaru, £600; Petone, £130; Christchurch and district, £7366 2a 2d ; Wellington and district, £3477 12s 7d; Inyercargill, £500; Thames, £633 ; sent direct to the Hon. the Premier, £582 Is 9d ; total, £23,934 9s 2d. Expected additional contributions are: — Auckland, £50; Gisborne, £14 14s ; Hokitika, £50; Wanganui, £30 ; Brunnerton, £50 ; Beef* ton, £30 ; Blenheim, £60 ; Invercargill, £15; total, £299 14s. Greymouth has not forwarded the amount collected locally. Ihe above contributions include about £200 sent to the Premier from a few sympathisers from. New South Wales, but no other Australian money. '
