Inter-colonial Sculling Race.

■■ o (Per Press Association.) Sydney, May 16. The inter-colonial eight oared race was rowed to-day and won by Victoria, New South Wales 2nd, Queensland 3rd. These were the only colonies represented. The intercolonial fours and single sculls will be rowed nest Saturday. In the boat race, Victoria gained an advantage by their smartness in getting away, and at Uhr's Point were a length and a half to the good. The New South Wales crew, however, stuck gallantly to them all the way, but Queensland was outpaced hefore a mile was coyered. At One Man wharf the local crew spurted, but could not get up, aud the Victorians won by a length. Time, 17tnin 17see. The Victorians have now a record of fourteen wins against New South Wales, and four against Queensland.
