The Methodist Federal Council has adopted a plan for union which has been compiled by the Wesleyan section of the Council. Parliament will open on June 11. The Hospital Board recommends the appointment of Dr Napier as resident surgeon, and Dr Buckley, of Manchester, as resident physician. Sydney, This Day. The Premier, speaking at Lithgow, outlined the Government programme. Between thirty and thirty-five measures •would be introduced this session.
