The Brunner Relief Fund.
(Per Press Association) Christchurch, April 27. The amount in the hands of the local treasurer to the Brunnerton Fund now amounts to £4206. Amount of subscriptions already acknowledged : — Feilding Star list —£55 7s. The following additions bave since come to band to the Feilding Star list:
The following is a copy of a» telegram received by the Mayor, Mr Walter A. L. Bailey, yesterday morning from Greymouth. "W.A. L. Bailey, Esq., Mayor of Feilding. Brunner Relief Fund. Please convey to residents of Feilding and accept for yourself on behalf of the Brunnerton sufferers most heartfelt thanks for their generous donation (£4O 4s 6d) just received. J. T. Skogland, Mayor, Greymouth."
