The Transvaal Crisis.
(Per Press Association.) CApfcTowv, April 25. Messrs Rhodes, Phillips, and Fanac pleaded treason, the others lese majeste without hostile intent and the rent lining connts were withdrawn. The proceedings were quiet and were marked by no vindictive feelings. The accused will be sentenced on Monday. It i« expected that a severe sentence wil ba passed, "but will be afterwards remitted. It is officially announced that President Kruger, of the Transvaal, will be unable to visit England at present, as bis presence is needed in the Volksraad.
