(Per Press Association.) Cairo, April 21. Five hundred of the Khalifas' bodyguard were killed in the fight which took place among themselves. April 22. General Baidissera has returned. King Menelek's peace proposals and negotiations are abandoned. The Dervishes, before their defeat by Major Sydney, entangled Fenwick's scouts in the bush and speared many of them. Fenwick's Egyptian Cavalry defended the hill all night, and repulsed four assaults.
