The Brunner Relief Fund.

(Per Press Association) Brunnerton, April 22. The Central Relief Committee met to daj\ It was decided to appoint temporary trustees to keep office only until permanent trustees are appointed. Ten prominent men were nominated and on ballot the following were elected :-- Mayors of Brunner, Greymouth, and Hokitika, Mr Kerr, M.L.C., Messrs Guinness and O'Regau,M'sH.R., and Mr Bishop, manager of coal mine. They are to keep charge of the funds only until the other centres or Parliament decide as to its permanent disposal. Amount of subscriptions already acknowledged : — Feilding Star list — .£55 7s.
