Manchester Rifles.

The following are the results ot the match fired at Feijding yesterday between teams of the Marton Rifle Club and the Manchester Rifles : —

Majority for Manchester Rifles — 48. The first contest between these teams resulted in a win for the Manchester Rifles by 20 points, the scores being — Feildmg 571, Marton 551 ; while in the second match Marton won by 8 points, scores — Marton 526, Feilding 518. The scores made by members of the Manchester Rifles, in the above match, count for Mrs Hastie's trophy and Capt. Kirton's rifle. Lieut Barltrop wins Mrs Hastie's teapot with the following scores (best three out of four) :- 88, 88, 80; total, 256. Vol Richards with 90, 79, 78, total, 247 ; and Vol G. Say well with 84, 82, 80, total 246 ; being close up. Vol Richards, with his score of 90 yesterday, gets another "leg" in for Capt. Kirton's rifle, the scores for which now stand — Lieut Barltrop, 4 wins ; Vol Richards, 4; Vol Say well, 3; nnd Bgt Aitken, Sgt Parker, Vol Scott, and Vol Wilson 1 win each.
