Landlords' Rents.
(Per Press Association.) Christckuech, April 9. In reply to a letter from the Duuedin Chamber of Commerce, the Committee of the Cristchurch Chamber passed the following " That landlords should not have a preferential claim for more than six months' rent, and with regard to leases, when a lease has any value, a bankrupt estate should have the full benefit of such values, but in the event of lease having been forfeited through the bankruptcy, the lessor should only have claim for 3 months' depreciation."
