[Per Press Association.] Curistchurch, April 10. At a meeting of the Committee of tjie Cautorbury Chamber oi ! Commerce, a letter was read, from Mr Davidson, Sydney, concerning statements in Australian papers as to " the unusually inferior quality " of New Zealand wheat. It was decided " That this Committee protests against the damaging statements which have appeared as regards the quality of New Zealand wheat, and will take steps to have the statements contrad ifitfid."
