SERIOUS INJURIES TO WOMEN AND CHILDREN. (Per Press Association.) Bhisbaxk, April 9 Fully 70,000 people witnessed the lauding of Governor- Lamington, and the brilliancy of the display surpassed anything of the kind ever seen here before. The festivities were, however, attended with a serious accident. A balcony, on which 50 people had assembled to witness the proceedings, collapsed, precipitating 20 of the occupants on to the pavement below. Nine were more ov less injured, and the majority were taken to the hospital. The chief sufferers were the women and children.
