Messrs Abraham and Williams report : — "We have only the Pahnerstou sale of yesterday to report upon. Cattle were in few numbers aud prices were in purchasers' favor. Sheep, iv moderate supply, were generally of second rate to inferior quality. For this class 'the demaud proved moderate and without alteration in price. Good lambs aud suitable wethers were well competed for. t-jtore wethers, 7s 8d to 7s Gd ; others 5s Gd to Os. Good lambs in wool 4h ; shorn lambs, 3s 6d ; culls, Is lOd to 2s Sd ; breeding ewes, 8s 4d to Os. (Per Press Association). CiiuiSTciiuncH, April 3. At the Addiugton yards to-day there was a good attendance. Fat cattle - Steers brought from £G 5s to -fcß; heifers, £4 5s to £6 17s Gd ; and cows, £3 10s to £6 15s. Dairy cattle.-- Best sorts brought from £5 to £1, aud others £o to £4 10s. Fat Sheep. — The prices realised were —heavy weight crossbred wethers, 14s to 15s 9d ; light sorts, 10.s 6d to 12s; young heavy weight crossbred, 10s to 13s ; do, of uncertain ages, 9s Gd to 12s ; aged and inferior, f*> Gd to 8s Gd ; merino wethers, 4s to 7s. Fat lambi.— Very few fat lambs oame forward. Best sorts sold at from Sis to 11s, and others at Gs 9d to Ss Gd. Store Sheep. — The only two lines of wethers fit for topping off brought 11s Id and Us 2d; mixed 2-tooths, 7s 5d toSs Id ; 2 tooth ewes, Us ; 4- tooth do, 9s 9d to 9s lid ; mixed ages do. 7s lid to 8s 4d ; aged do, 3s 4d to os 6d ; merino ewes, 2s 9d ; good crossbreds lambs, Gs lOd to 8s 5d ; aud others, 4s 4d to 6s Gd. Pigs— The heavy yarding of pigs caused prices to ease, aud bacouers can be quoted at 2'jd to 3| aud porkers 3^l.
