Other starters— Cabin Boy and Toreador. Betting— 5 to 2 on Wallace, 5 to 1 against Toreador, 7 to 1 The Harvester, 10 to 1 Valiant. Harvester was first to move, but being steadied allowed Valiant to take command, with Toreador next, and in this order they entered the straight on the secoud round, with the favorite in a handy position. When the race began in real earnest Wallace came with a great rattle, and won easily by a length and a half, a length separating second and third. Time, 3miu 4(.>Jsec. Time, lmin IGsee This Day. | Newhavnn's easy win in the Easter Stakes caused a lot of hostile comment and a demonstration against the horse, and the owner after the former's iguomin ous dec.it iv the ChAmpigne Stakes, yesterday's performance being considered inconsistent. The Jockey Club will consider the matter today and will also enquire into the riding of Courallie by Delancy in the All Aged Stakes, the owner having asked for au enquiry.
