The Soudan Exnedition.
- o (Per Press Association.) Cairo, April 6. According to a recent wire the Dervishes are in large force on the road between Assouan aud Berber, and are pre, paring to attack the entjenched pos}tious occupied by the Egyptian troops. Many Dougolese express delight at the prospect of the Khaliffa's overthrow. Six hundred dervishes have been killed before Kassala and tbis heavy loss is weakening the pressure of the siege Sir Renvers Buller is likely to take command in the Soudan in the autumn. The dervishes are assembling at Firket and Kehreb.
