Draughts Tournament.

(Per Press Association.) Wanganui, April 7. The rooms were crowded with spectators witnessing the proceedings this afternoon. Henderson met Leggat today. Tbe Aucklander, after brilliant play, secured botb wins. Borebam and Bruce had two slashing games, the Oamaru crack being victorious in botb. Boreham is almost sure to win the Championship. He is in splendid form and playing great games. Wellington and Oamaru meet to-morrow. At a meeting to-day of the Draughts Association it was decided to hold the next tournament in Wanganui. Tho following are tbe scores : — Boreham played 28 games, scored 24 points ; Kay 32, 21 ; Leggat 26, 19 ; Henderson 22, 16| ; Henderson 32, 16£ ; Gibson 31, 16 ; Montgomery 23, 16 ; Murray 28, 14£ ; Bruce 30, 14 ; Youneer 26, 14 ; Menzies 30, 13 ; Lowther 38, 12£ ; Oliver 26, 12* ; Davy 26, 12 ; Blair 28, 8£ ; Robertson 32, 6£ ; Lyon 32, 4£, Boreham has only lost one game throughout tbe tournament.
