Kiwitea Circuit.

o ■ ■■ The quarterly meeting of the above circuit was held in the Wesleyan Church, Birmingham, on Monday afternoon last. Present— Rev. T. R. Richards (presiding), Messrs Burne, Field, Jensen, J. Richards, Stokes, Guy, and Kilgour. The income for the quarter was found to be in excess of the expenditure, which was a very encouraging feature of the meeting. Mr G. Field was passed up as an accredited local preacher. A great deal of Church work was considered by the brethren. The meeting placed on record a hearty vote of thanks to the Rev. Mr Richards for the efficient and faithful manner in which he had discharged bis duties as minister of the circuit during tbo last two years. He bad done much good in the circuit, and a general feeling of regret followed his departure. The meeting wished for his great usefulness and prosperity in the Palmerston North circuit. The Rev. Mr Richards thanked tbem for their kind expressions and wishes. The Benediction closed a pleasing and profitable meeting.
