The gomes in the first round for Mr Bennies trophy must all be played off by Wednesduy, April 1. During the Easter holidays matches will be played against the Palmerston Club by the Thorndon, and Newtown (of Wellington), and Danevirke Clubs, at Palmerston. It is expected Thorndon and Newtown will send three rinks each and Danevirke two, the latter playing on Saturday and the two former on Monday.
