Colyton School Committee.

A meeting of the above Committee was held last Friday evening. Present — Messrs O. Pleasants (chairman), T. Shortall, E. Smith, G. Ashworth. The minutes of the last meetiug were read and confirmed, and an account passed for payment. The master's report was read, and was considered satisfactory. It showed the average attendance for the past four weeks to be as follows : — 74*4, 72 8, 72-3, and 6S-4, respectively. Proposed by Mr Ashworth, seconded by Mr Smith. That ls be handed to the secretary to be used as petty cash. — Carried. Proposed by Mr Shortall, seconded by Mr Smith, That Messrs Smith aud Ashworth be the visiting committee for the ensuing cnozibh. — Carried.
