Bowling News.
In the third round for Mr Yates' trophy, Mr W. Carthevv beat Mr T. H. James, the scores being 21-18. We understand there is a probability of a team of Wellington bowlers visiting Feilding at Easter. A friendly game was played between the following teams on Saturday : — Bailey, White, Gosling, Young (skip), 26 ; md Stevens, Davy, Dickson, Curtis (skip), 10. Another friendly match was played between the following teams :—Sandilands, Bray senr., James, and Thomson [skip), 18 ; and Younger, Worsfold, Phelps, and Saywell (skip) 17.
