International Race.—Martin, America, 1 ; Parsons, Victoria, 2 ; Megson, N.S. Wales, 3. Time, 13min 23 2-sth sees. Open Handicap. —Neil Materson, N. S. Wales, 1; Lyncn, 2 ; Chapman, 3. Time, 7min 35 l-sth sees. None of the New Zealand riders were successful at the meeting. Christchurch, March 21. A cycling carnival, privately promoted, was held at Lancaster Park yes terday aud attended by about 2000 people. The special features were fche events in which several ladies in rational costume took part. Napier, March 21. There was line weather for the cycling sports. The track was in excellent order. The following are the results: — One Mile Open—W. Castle, Wellington, 110 yds, 1 ; W. H. Small, Hawke's Bay, 118 yds, 2 ; E. Bissell, Hawke's Bay, 3. Time, 2mm 22 £ sees. Three Mile Open — Duncan McDonald, Hastings, scr, 1; W. Castle. Wellington, 20yds, 2 ; W. Hands, Napier, 150 yds, 3. Time, Bmin 24 3oth sees. Half Mile Open-F- Casfcle, Wellington, 75yds, 1; W. Small, Napier, 75yds, 2; E. Bissell, Napier, 75yds 3. Time, lmin 8 3-sth sees. C. H. Jones, Christchurch, aud G. Petersen, Napier, were among the starters. Two Miles Open -W. Castle, 175 yds, 1; G. E. Peterson, 60yds, 2; W. R. Jourdain, 145 yds, 3. C. H. Jones, also raced, but was outpaced. One Mile Championship of Hawke's Bay—F. J. Fraser, Napier, 1; C. H Jones, Christchurch, 2; W. H. Small, Napier, '6. Won by a dozen lengths. Time, 2min 28 4-stn socs. Fiye Mile Mile Roadster -W. Castle, 40yds, 1; Duncan McDonald ser, 2; J. Pocock, 60yds, 3. Time, 14min 13 2-sth sees.
