The third drawing for Mr Yacea* trophy resulted as follows: — ThornßOn P. versus Younger G. Sherwill H. L. „ Scott J. James T. H. „ Carthew W. McLaren J. „ Bailey W. L. Sayweli G., a bye. The games must be finished by Satur. day, March 28. A friendly match was played on the local green yesterday afternoon, and resulted — Gosling, Sayweli, Haybiule. Worfold (skip), '25; Pholps, Stevens, James, Sandiladds (skip), 15. In response to an invitation the Wei-lington-Newtovvn Bowling Club will probably send up three rink" to Palmerston North to play a match there at Etister.
