Second Trial of Harper.

(Per Press 4ssoeiafcion.) Wellington, This Day. The Crown proceeded with the second charge against Leonard Harper this morning. He was charged with having converted to bis own use the sum of L 2250 belonging to the Rev H.H. Gillett of England, being part of a sum of .£SOOO sent out to Harper's firm in 1888 for investment. The same counsel appeared as in the first charge. The case is ex- j pected to last two days.
