(Per Presß Association.) Wellington, March 12. The Council of the Wellington Chamber of Commerce at a meeting to day decided to telegraph to the other chambers in the colony that it is strongly in accordance with tho views expressed by the Auckland and Nolson chambers in regard to the proposal tax on tho assumed profits of foreign consignors, and to suggest that resolutions should bo forwarded strengthening tho bauds of the deputation which it is proposed shall wait on tho commissioner urging him to suspend operation of tho Act.
