Canterbury Ram Fair.

(Per Press Association.) Christchurch, March 12. The annual Ram Fair of the Canterbury A. and P. Association was opened today, and will continue to-morrow. There is a good attendance of South Island breeders, but few from the North: The stud Ijincolns sold from 1 guinea to '26 guineas, Romneys from 2^ to 9 guineas, Border Leicesters from 3 to 9,\ guineas', English Leicesters from 4 to 25 nnd 30 guineas for a couple. Of Threlkeld's only two Shropshires sold at 3 and 3:} guineas, and one Southdown at 6 guineas. A fair number of Lincoln flock rams sold at 1 to 8 guineas.
